Post-Graduate (PG) students of Panjab University (PU) will now be able to submit their examination forms online,as the university announced its decision to adopt the online system of submission of examination forms on Wednesday.
The facility,which has been introduced as part of PUs initiative to introduce examination reforms,will allow students to get their roll numbers online and access information regarding examination centres and results for various courses offered by the university.
PU Controller of Examinations,Dr Parvinder Singh said that under the first phase of the project the facility will be extended to all PG students in the campus and those studying in various affiliated colleges of the university in Punjab and Chandigarh,including students of University School of Open Learning (USOL) and private candidates.
However,it must be noted that only students who will appear for the December 2013 examination under the semester system will be able to avail this facility.
The second phase will include all the under-graduate students of PU,its affiliated colleges and four constituent colleges in Punjab, added Dr Singh.
The detailed schedule regarding the new system will be made available on PUs official website from September 26.
It will include details regarding the procedure of filling the form and deposit of fees.
