No tickets without crowds?

It would be a testing time for ticket seekers from both SAD and Congress as their capability to gather an audience at the rallies being organised at Khatkar Kalan on March 23 would have serious impact on their ticket prospects for the 2012 Vidhan Sabha elections.

It would be a testing time for ticket seekers from both SAD and Congress as their capability to gather an audience at the rallies being organised at Khatkar Kalan on March 23 would have serious impact on their ticket prospects for the 2012 Vidhan Sabha elections.

The prestigious show of strength has led both SAD and Congress high command to try to put up their best show and both parties have asked the district level leaders to make arrangements.

An SAD leader from the region,requesting anonymity,said that they were told to bring at least 10 busloads of workers from each constituency of Doaba region,which has 25 Assembly segments. “Getting a ticket will be a close call among the contenders and yet another headache for the top SAD brass because there are more then one contenders on most of the Vidhan Sabha segments in Doaba region,” he added. For instance,both SAD and Congress have four to five strong contenders from Jalandhar Cantt.
