Music will meet imagery in a unique visual concert encompassing acoustic music and video in an event organised by Alliance Francaise,Chandigarh . The IF ensemble represents the coming together of an acoustic world music trio and a visual artist. The group is known to create a blend of engaging music and captivating visual imagery. A result of today’s globalised world with imprints and influences from India,Finland,France,Argentina and Canada,the group derives its inspiration from the cultural diversity creating music,which is not only steeped in the traditions of classical and jazz music,but also integrates the latest in digital arts. Formed in 2010 in Brussels,the IF Ensemble is on a tour of India and Nepal. They will perform in Chandigarh on April 5 at Alliance Francaise,Sector 36,7:30 pm onwards.
