NCC cadets honoured

72 NCC cadets including 24 girls were honoured by Major General PS Mandher,ADG,National Cadet Corps,Directorate Punjab,Haryana,Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh,at 1 Chandigarh Air Squadron NCC,Sector 31 for their excellent performance in All India Vayu Sainik NCC Camp held at Bengaluru early this week. The cadets claimes the runner-up trophy in sports and claimed gold medal in health and hygiene. The cadets trained under the supervision of Wing Commander JS Jeji,CO of 1 Chandigarh Air Squadron,NCC.

Skating trials tomorrow

Panchkula: The District Roller Skating Association of Panchkula is conducting trials on October 26 to select Panchkula teams for the upcoming 26th Haryana Olympics in Speed and Hockey. The trials will be organised at Bhavan Vidyalaya School,Sector 15,Panchkula,at 4.00 pm. Skaters over the age of eight years can take part in the trials.
