Riding high on good performances from its bowlers,Madhya Pradesh restricted Mumbai within 53.3 overs for 100 runs,in reply to their first innings total of 163 runs in a match played during 2nd All India U-19 Invitation Tournament Dhruv Pandove Trophy at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. Resuming at 61 for 5,Mumbai innings crumbled soon. Mihir Hirwani (3 for 20) and Shubham Sharma (3 for 20) bowled well to bag three wickets each to knock the opposition batsmen out. In the second innings,Madhya Pradesh declared at 216 for 3 in 66 overs. Mumbai in the second innings were 25 for no loss in 9 overs when the match was called off.

Punjab drub Odisha
In another match played at the Dhruv Pandove Stadium in Patiala,resuming at overnight 83 for 3,Odhisa were bundled out for 166 runs in 65.2 overs,in reply to their first innings total of 240 runs. Parteek Das (48) and Subranshu Senapati (26 no) were main scorers for Odisha. For Punjab,Abhilash Sharma (5 for 42) and Vinay Chaudhary (2 for 63) shared the spoils. Playing in the second innings,Punjab ended the day on 288 runs for 3,riding on a 112-run opening partnership between Jaskaran Singh and Rohan Marwaha. Rohan (119 no) who had earlier got 59 runs in the first innings went on to complete a strokeful unbeaten century Punjab grabbed two points for their first innings lead.

Vidarbha snub Bengal
In the third match,Vidarbha earned two points owing to their 42-run first innings lead against Bengal. Resuming from overnight score of 43 for 1,Bengal were bundled out for 165 in 64.3 overs. J.Acharya of Vidarbha (4 for 13) engineered the Bengal’s collapse. In the second innings,Vidarbha were 68 for 5 at close of play.

In the fourth match played at YPS Mohali,Kerala defended their modest total of 203 runs,as HPCA resuming from overnight score of 143 runs for 4,were skittled out for 193 runs in 59.3 overs. Left-arm spinner,P.K.Midhu (4 for 39) and Vishnu Babu (3 for 27) were the principal wicket takers for Kerala. Playing in the second innings,Kerala were 137 for 5 in 64 overs when the stumps were drawn. Mohd. Azrudeen (26) was the highest scorer for Kerala. Kerala pocketed two points for their first innings lead.
