Mohali residents submit memorandum to SSP against TDI bosses

Around a dozen residents of Mohali submitted a memorandum to the Senior Superintendent of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar’s office on Saturday,requesting the immediate arrest of Sanyam Dudeja and Mohammad Miftah Sami,the CEO and Manager of Taneja Developers and Infrastructure (TDI) respectively,after an FIR was registered against TDI on September 9 for forgery,cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property in selling a plot of land to Mohali resident Navinpal Singh Saini and his father.

All those who signed the memorandum claimed to have been allegedly cheated by TDI in a similar fashion,and claimed that there are at least a hundred other people who were cheated by TDI.

Earlier,a court in Mohali had directed the police to register an FIR against the accused after Saini had moved the court. The police had registered an FIR after a delay of three days from the reception of the court’s orders.
