When it comes to legends it’s impossible to forget them and paying tribute to Michael Jackson is The British School,Panchkula. This,with a mega dance competition ‘Dance War 09 — A Tribute to Michael Jackson’ at the Open Air Theatre of Yavnika,Sector 5,Panchkula on July 25 at 7pm. To be organised in association with RB Creations,here KK Khandelwal,IAS,Additional Principal Secretary to The Chief Minister,Haryana will be the chief guest.

“The contest will test talent in western,folk and classical dances. Our aim is to discover and encourage outstanding talent among young children. There will be three age categories for solo: below eight years,nine to 15 years,16 years onwards and two categories for duet and group: below 12 years and above 12 years,” Geetika Sethi,Director of The British School,Panchkula,tells us that the a slide show on the life history of Michael Jackson will also be organised on the day.

The competition is open to general public. While,the participation fee for solo category is Rs 300,for duet its Rs 500 and for group category Rs 700. The last date for registration is July 22. The registration forms can be collected from The British school,Sector 8,Panchkula.
