Kings XI Punjab today has announced the addition of three new players,Aniket Choudhary,left-arm medium pacer from Rajasthan,Manan Vohra,right-handed batsman from Punjab and Sandeep Sharma,right-arm medium pacer from Punjab in their squad for the upcoming season of IPL. We are happy to have them as a part of KXIP squad and believe they will effectively contribute to the tournament. We wish them all the best and hope that they can utilise this opportunity as a platform to make a mark a niche for themselves as well. Manan Vohra who did not play in any of the domestic matches for Punjab either during Ranji Trophy or Vijay Hazare Trophy will make his comeback on the cricket scene in the IPL. It maybe recalled that Manan fractured one of his fingers ahead of the Youth World Cup in Australia and had to miss out the entire tournament. Meanwhile medium-pacer Sandeep Sharma has had tremendous Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare outings. He has been one of the main architects of Punjab bowlers success during the season. Infact Sandeep was part of the WC winning Indian team that clinched the Youth U-19 title in Australia.
