Bacardi Limited,as part of its responsible drinking Champions Drink Responsibly campaign has announced 28-year-old programmer Upasana Gupta from Chandigarh as one of the two lucky winners from India. A self-professed auto-enthusiast Upasana has won a lifetime opportunity to be in the passenger seat next to Michael Schumacher,the worlds most successful F1 champion. She will join 28 winners from across 40 countries at the Ascari Race Circuit in Spain in May 2009. Michael Schumacher,who is the Bacardi Limited Global Social Responsibility Ambassador,will drive with the winners on a five kilometer race track to raise awareness about the critical message of responsible drinking. This initiative is part of Bacardis global social responsibility campaign to encourage drivers to know the options available to avoid drinking and driving – using public transportation,taking a taxi,designating a driver,or drinking non-alcoholic cocktails if they must drive.
