Riding high on a combined team effort,Little Flower Convent School-14,Panchkula defeated Satluj Cricket Academy-B,Panchkula by six-wickets in the Summer Cup to seal the semis spot in a match held at Satluj Pubic School-4,Panchkula,on Friday.

Batting first,Satluj Cricket Academy-B scored total of 119 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted quota of 20 overs. Karan Punj (31) and Shubham Mishra (30) were Satluj’s main contributors. Ketan bowled a superb line to capture two wickets for Little Flower School.

In reply,Little Flower Convent School-14 showed tremendous grit in the scorching heat and achieved the target in 18 overs losing four wickets. The Little Flower innings revolved around the trio of Tavneet Singh (22),Aishal (17 not out) and Kartik (16 not out). For Satluj academy,Shubham and Shivam grabbed two wickets a piece.
