Life Insurance Corporation of India is celebrating its 55th anniversary,starting with the LIC Day celebrations on September 1,and Insurance Week celebrations from September 1 to 7. L C Meena,Senior Divisional Manager of the Chandigarh division of LIC said that various social activities like tree plantation,free health check-up camps,blood donation camp,honouring of teachers etc. will be undertaken by the division as part of the celebrations. Regarding the performance of Chandigarh division,Meena stated that it has ranked first in the county in the sale of Jeevan Aarogya,a new health plan.
