City-based jeweller Vikrant Kumar,who had to spend a night in the Sector-34 Police Station for reportedly avoiding a head-on collision with another car which belonged to SDM Tanvi Garg,along with his friends and family on Friday met UT Adviser K K Sharma to file a complaint. The Advisor has assured Kumar that he would look into the matter.
Jagdip Singh Diwan,Kumar’s family friend,said,The advisor said that he was not aware of the entire episode. We explained to him the incident and told him that action must be taken.
Kumar,a Sector-44 resident,drew a map of the entire situation and told him that the incident was unacceptable. He was surprised that the incident was not brought to his notice. He has promised that he would mark an inquiry and has asked us to meet him on Monday, Diwan said.
Advisor Sharma said,Kumar and Diwan met me and explained their version of the incident. Facts need to be verified,however,I will also listen to all the parties concerned. Diwan has given a complaint. The matter with respect to alleged unnecessary harassment will definitely be looked into and corrective steps will be taken after due verification.
