David Dhawan opens doors to his next,Do Knot Disturb It’s yet another laugh riot from the David Dhawan stable, and the director chose the perfect place to unveil its first look. Among other glamorous things,IIFA 2009 saw the first look of Dhawan’s Do Knot Disturb at Macau. Produced by Big Pictures and Puja Films,Do Knot Disturb will see Dhawan’s best man Govinda, team up with Sushmita Sen along with Riteish Deshmukh,Lara Dutta,Sohail Khan,Ranvir Sheorey and Rajpal Yadav. “My motive of making films is to make people laugh and make them forget their worries. Do Knot Disturb has been made with the same objective and I hope to bring smiles to audiences worldwide with this film,” says Dhawan. Adds producer Vashu Bhagnani,”Do Knot Disturb marks my reunion with both David and Govinda. Together,we have given many successful films in the past and we firmly believe that this too will keep both stakeholders and consumers, laughing all the way.” While the film’s music has been composed by Nadeem-Shravan,lyrics are by Sameer and screenplay by Yunus Sejawal.

High Spirits
Yash Raj is finally picking pace. First ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’,and now New York. While the film will release on June 26,its music is out and here’s what it has to offer: penned by Sandeep Srivastava and composed by Pritam, the film’s music is young and peppy. Currently on air is Hai Junoon, where the core element is friendship and is brilliantly sung by KK. From a youthful celebration to the emotional true love Mere Sang by Sunidhi Chauhan which is filmed on John and Katrina, the music moves to Tune Jo Na Kaha,a slow emotional number rendered by Mohit Chauhan. This one’s on Neil and Katrina. While Pankaj Awasthi gives a powerful evocative Sufi rock Aye Saye Mere (written by Junaid Wasi),Julius Packiam has remixed Aye Saye Mere,Hai Junoon and Mere Sang. Watch out for Sam’s Theme by Caralisa Monteiro and Packiam and the amazing New York theme which rounds up the album. Rustic, soft, heavy percussion, great guitar riffs,New York’s music has something for everyone.
