A local court today dismissed the application filed by the defence counsel of Kamal Singh,co-accused in the Carmel school girl kidnapping case, for reversing the order passed by a judicial magistrate who had sent Kamal to judicial custody on November 3.
Claiming that the girl,in her statement recorded with the judicial magistrate on Friday, had admitted that she was never abducted,Kamals lawyer appealed in the court of additional session judge Preeti Sahni for reversal of the order.
Also,Kamals bail plea was moved in the court on Thursday but the court orders are awaited.
