Avtar Singh Khanda, who targeted Indian mission in UK, ‘groomed’ Amritpal
The investigating agencies are also analysing videos of Khanda in which he is emphasising that the "legacy that Deep Sidhu started has to be continued".

Investigation agencies probing Amritpal Singh’s case have found that Avtar Singh Khanda, who has been arrested for pulling down the Indian flag at the embassy in London, is the same person who had been a “godfather” to Waris Punjab De leader.
Khanda, the agencies told The Indian Express, is the one who “groomed” Amritpal before the latter reached Punjab.
Highly placed sources said that Khanda’s father Kulwant Singh Khukrana was a terrorist of Khalistan Liberation Force.
“Avtar is the one who patronised and groomed Amritpal before he reached India,” a source said.
The investigating agencies are also analysing videos of Khanda in which he is emphasising that the “legacy that Deep Sidhu started has to be continued”.
The investigators also believe that Khanda and Amritpal remained connected on social media platforms. However, it was yet not confirmed if both met each other in person.
