Jaipur-Chandigarh train to run till February 2

With an aim to cater to the winter rush of train passengers,the Northern Railways has extended the duration of the Jaipur-Chandigarh-Jaipur (0989/0990) tri-weekly Winter Special train till February 2,2009,from the earlier timeline of January 4,2009.

Two new stations — Basba and Jagatpura — have been added to the list of stations where the train will halt en route. The 0989 Jaipur-Chandigarh train will run from Jaipur on Tuesdays,Fridays and Sundays at 7.55 pm to reach Chandigarh at 7.30 am the following day.

On the return route,the train will run on Mondays,Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9.00 pm to arrive at Jaipur by 8.10 am the following day.
