International journal publishes research paper by two UIET students

A research paper of two students of University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET),Akash Bhatia and Babaldeep Singh,based on economic analysis of milk and billing with electronic card,has been published in the recognised international journal International Journal of Scientific and Engineering Research in its September 4 edition.

Both Bhatia and Singh are third year BTech (Electronics and Communication Engineering) students and had been working on the paper since eight months. The research paper focuses on the need for a faster and easier billing system,which the South Asians nations currently lack.

One of the students explained,“An electronic milk tester is interfaced with a micro-controller for faster billing system in the milk collection unit from farmers. If this technique is implemented in the South Asian countries,it will bring a revolution in milk collection units.”

Elaborating on the research,the students said they were inspired to undertake this research after they got the opportunity to attend a 15-day training programme in Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL),Jaipur,where they learnt about the electronic milk tester.
