In Punjab, 15 IAS, PCS officers transferred twice within 48 hours

The 15 IAS and PCS officers in Punjab had received their first transfer orders on Monday. The latest orders were issued as part of a massive rejig where 124 officers were transferred on Wednesday.

Fifteen Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Punjab Civil Service (PCS) officers in Punjab were transferred yet again on Wednesday – within 48 hours of receiving their previous transfer orders. The orders were issued as part of a massive rejig where 124 officers were transferred on Monday and 49 on Wednesday.

Sanyam Aggarwal, a 2012-batch IAS officer, who was the special secretary of agriculture and farmers’ welfare till Monday, was first transferred as the commissioner of the Municipal Corporation (MC) of Bathinda, and then as the director of higher education on Wednesday.

Ankurjit Singh, a 2018-batch IAS officer, who was Pathankot additional deputy commissioner (ADC) two days ago, was posted as the additional commissioner, Jalandhar MC on Monday, and then as the chief administrator of the Jalandhar Development Authority.

Similarly, Nikas Kumar, a 2020-batch IAS officer, who was ADC (urban development) Amritsar till Monday, was transferred as the ADC (rural development), Hoshiarpur, and then as the ADC (general) Ludhiana on Wednesday.

Harjinder Singh, another 2020-batch IAS officer, who was serving as the ADC (rural development), Patiala, till Monday, was posted as the ADC (general), Pathankot, and then as the ADC, Ludhiana.

Divya P, a 2022-batch IAS officer, who did not have a posting earlier, was posted as the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), Taran Tarn on Monday and then as the SDM, Guru Har Sahai, on Wednesday.

Vivek Kumar Modi, another 2022-batch IAS officer, who did not have a posting earlier, was posted as the SDM, Dasuya, two days ago and then as the SDM, Adampur, on Wednesday.

Krishna Pal Rajpoot, a 2022-batch IAS officer, who did not have a posting earlier, was posted as the SDM, Khadoor Sahib, on Monday and then as the SDM, Abohar, on Wednesday evening.

Sanjeev Sharma, a 2012-batch PCS officer, was posted as the ADC, Ludhiana, two days ago, and then as the joint secretary of the school education.

Rohit Gupta, a 2014-batch PCS officer, was posted as the SDM Jalandhar-I in the rejig two days ago and was sent to Ludhiana as the SDM, Ludhiana (East), on Wednesday.

Paramajit Singh (PCS-2016), posted as the deputy secretary of justice, was Wednesday appointed as the director of school education (secondary).

Randeep Singh Heer (PCS-2016), who was posted as the SDM, Ludhiana, on Monday was sent to Jalandhar as the SDM.

Deepjot Kaur (PCS-2016) was transferred as the assistant commissioner (general), Fatehgarh Sahib, and posted as the joint commissioner, Patiala MC, two days later.

On Monday, Ashok Kumar (PCS-2020) was posted as the SDM, Lehragaga and Moonak. On Wednesday evening, he was posted as the SDM, Patran.

Manjit Singh Rajla (PCS-2023), was the SDM, Bhikhiwind, for two days, and then transferred as the SDM, Amloh, on Wednesday.

Arvinder Pal Singh (PCS-2023) was the SDM, Abohar, on Monday morning and was transferred as the SDM, Tarn Taran, in the evening the same day and SDM Khadoor Sahib, two days later.
