Immigration firm owners arrested for fraud

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the UT police arrested the owners of Milestone Immigration firm in Sector 8,Dayal Inder Singh Gill and Sukhjinder Singh,for duping two residents of Amritsar to the tune of Rs 7.30 lakh on the pretext of sending them to Canada. Inspector Prem Singh said: “The accused had taken the amount from the complainants in instalments and also obtained their passports claiming to provide visas.” A case was registered and the accused will be produced in court on Saturday.
