I don’t believe in vendetta politics,says Sukhbir Badal

He said the Congress was trying to crush anyone who raised a voice against the Congress for the scams. He also said the Congress had unleashed a reign of terror on innocent followers of yoga guru Baba Ramdev,who were sleeping,and reminded people of the Emergency days.

When asked about Captain offering to release a list of 51 projects initiated and completed in his tenure,the deputy chief minister said that Captain Amarinder was a totally confused man. He has deputed the whole unit of Punjab Congress to dust all cupboards to find at least a single project that he could claim to have completed in his tenure.

Badal said those who work for the state do not require a team to look for projects. He said that if Captain had accomplished some work during his tenure,it should have been on his finger tips.

Replying to a query regarding criteria for selection of candidates for ensuing Vidhan Sabha elections,Badal said that winnability and loyalty would be the twin criteria for ticket distribution and the final call will be taken by the party.

The deputy chief minister expressed confidence that the electorate of Punjab would give a mandate to SAD-BJP combine again,honouring it for the record number of development initiatives.

Later, Badal held Sanagt Darshan for 30 villages at Sukhera Bodlan,Ghubaya,Chak Tahliwala ,Fattuwala,Mohar Singh wala,Baghake Hithiar and Chak Shukar and disbursed grants to the tune of Rs 4 crore for various development works.
