When Indias top music maestros come together for a fusion concert,it guarantees nothing less than a spectacle. Tabla player Zakir Hussains charm,percussionist Sivamanis infectious energy and Shankar Mahadevans high-pitched notes brought together 3,000 people during HeartbeatsThe music within concert held at the Shanmukhananda Auditorium,Mumbai. Indian mandolin player U Srinivas and percussionist Selvaganesh added the fusion factor to the hour-long concert. Sivamani enthralled the audience with his trademark tricks with the drum sticks,while Mahadevan heightened the enthusiasm with his Hindustani and Carnatic renditions.

Bummer Though the show was well attended,members of the music industry,apart from Pandit Satish Vyas,gave it a miss.
