HC issues notices to CBI on FCI recruitment scam

The Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notices to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on a petition alleging recruitment scam in the Food Corporation of India (FCI).

Justice Nirmaljit Kaur today issued notices to the CBI on a petition filed by Panchkula FCI’s assistant general manager Surinder Singh.

The petitioner claimed he was deliberately denied equal opportunity in the matter of appointment on the post of deputy general manager (DGM) in FCI,despite fourth rank in the written test.
