GMSH to offer three more specialty courses

The Government Multi Specialty Hospital in Sector 16,is all set to start three more post-graduate degree courses.

According to sources,the hospital would soon offer the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) degrees in three different subjects. It already offers the Diplomate of National Board specialisation in gynaecology,paediatrics,medicine,orthopaedics,and surgery.

As per the decision taken at a planning commission meeting held in Delhi recently,courses on community medicine,family medicine,and emergency and trauma medicine would be started.

Sources added that the UT health department has already applied for the recognition of the courses. There will be two seats in each of the courses.
