In a bid to provide hassle-free services to the public and stakeholders, the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) will hold a special one-day camp to hand over clearance certificates to allottees, promoters, and developers. The camp will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 13, at the Meeting Hall, Second Floor, PUDA Bhawan, Mohali.
Vishesh Sarangal, Chief Administrator, GMADA, said that several citizen-centric services, including issuance of conveyance deeds, no-dues certificates, permissions for transfer and sale of properties, and sanction of building plans are being delivered in a seamless and time-bound manner. For promoters and developers, project-related clearances are also being regularly issued.
“Regular monitoring is being done to ensure that services are delivered efficiently and without delay,” said Sarangal. “The primary purpose of organising the camp is not only to facilitate allottees and stakeholders but also to provide them a platform to raise issues faced while availing services from different GMADA offices.”
He said that officials from key departments, including Estate Office (Plots), Estate Office (Housing), District Town Planner (GMADA), District Town Planner (Regulatory), along with other related offices will remain present at the camp. “All officers have been directed to take note of the issues raised by the public and stakeholders during the camp so that corrective steps can be taken to improve service delivery, making it more convenient, quicker, and satisfactory,” the Chief Administrator added.
