Justice for Mohali man: Court attaches PUDA building as GMADA fails to deliver flat to him

The Permanent Lok Adalat (PLA) on Tuesday ordered the attachment of the Punjab Urban Development Authority’s (PUDA) building in Mohali over its failure to deliver a flat in the Purab Premium Apartment project in Sector 88.

The complainant, Tarsem Kansal, had moved the PLA against the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) for delays in delivering the flat.

The order directed the attachment of PUDA Bhawan in Sector 62, along with the vehicles of the chief administrator and estate officer, furniture, and air conditioners. The court noted that GMADA owed Rs 2.31 crore, including interest, to the complainant as of November 11, 2024.

The Lok Adalat instructed officials to execute the warrant and report back by December 30.
