In a run-up to Children’s Day,children were having a ball at the Government School,Sector 8,on Saturday. The event organised by Vatsal Chaya Trust and sponsored by Fortis Hospital,engaged street children in several activities that provided educational,vocational and motivational opportunities. The fun-filled afternoon included games and sweet treats,apart from singing and dancing,and magician Pradeep had all attention when he opened his bag of tricks. “We hope to make them feel special. Besides the goodies,we also gave them a sweater as a special gift — it will be useful during winters,” said Sangita Vardhan,chairperson of the trust.
