Flights to Jaipur,Leh,Indore

Bringing three more cities on the list of destinations connecting Chandigarh,Jet Airways is all set to introduce direct flights from Chandigarh to Leh and Jaipur and a connecting one to Indore. These three new flights will add up the total number of flights operational from the city from 12 to 15. Already added in the winter schedule of the approved flights from Chandigarh,these would take off in the month of October,when the winter schedule will be implemented.

“At present,there are no flights from Chandigarh connecting these three cities. Thus,it was a conscious decision after much deliberation to include these destinations on the map of Jet Airways flights. We are hoping that these receive a good response from the residents,” said the station manager of the airways.

At present,there are a total of 12 flights by four airlines operational from Chandigarh. These include three by Jet Airways (two for Delhi and one for Mumbai),six by Kingfisher Airlines (four for Delhi,one for Mumbai and one for Jammu-Srinagar),two by Go-air (both for Mumbai) and one by Indian Airways for Delhi.

The airline officials said that the fares have not been decided yet,but would be finalised within this week. “The bookings will be opened once,the fares are finalised as the airline staff is still working on the fare for these routes,” added one of the officials at the airport.
