Fashion designer Raghavendra Rathore (inset)hasnt given up his traditional Jodhpur elegance to crank out a fresh modern jewellery line. Hes still essentially a fashion designer who has diversified into product design,interiors,tent design and even chocolate packaging,all of which bears his trademark style. He recently launched his new jewellery range,Zoya for Tanishq,a company for which he has been designing since 2008. The collection,divided into four distinct looks,infuses an old-world charm with the use of stones in typical Rathore fashion. The collection has diamonds in the form of tear drop earrings and a delicate necklace with exquisite detailing,among others. Another remarkable creation is a ring topped with a triangular amber stone. The product should be such that a customer should be able to identify it the moment he touches it, said Rathore. The collection is priced between Rs 23,000 and Rs 3 lakhs.
