Dream Debut

All those who thought bathroom singers don’t go far,here’s an inspiring tale! Resham Singh Anmol arrived at the Chandigarh Press Club this Monday afternoon armed with a bathroom mug for the formal launch of his debut music album aptly titled ‘The Beginning’. “I started my singing career in my bathroom. Those who heard me,encouraged me to hone my skill,” remarked the singer in all seriousness as he hummed three songs from his album using that bathroom mug as a prop! Surprisingly,it all sounded good. “I was two years old when my father passed away. It was quite difficult for me to survive but singing was my passion and I didn’t let my hopes die,” remarked the aspiring Punjabi singer as he went on to add,“I have been able to launch this album all because of my brothers and my friends who saved every penny to support me.” With T-series launching his debut,it’s clearly a dream come true. “There are nine Punjabi tracks on the album and I have written and composed some of them,” informs Anmol who was also one of the finalists on the third season of popular Punjabi talent hunt ‘Awaaz Punjab Di’. While his debut album is in Punjabi,Anmol also sings in Haryanavi and Hindi. “While my next album will be in Haryanavi,I am also working on another Punjabi hip-hop album,” informed the singer who originally hails from Nakatpur in Ambala district and is hoping youngsters listen in to his numbers. Supporting the album launch is a music video that is currently on air and features model Chahat from Mumbai.
