Dr Jerath all set for London sojourn

Dr C K Jerath,president,Chandigarh Amateur Boxing Association (CABA) has been selected as Technical Official in the Boxing Event of London Olympics Games. Earlier,he acted as Technical Official during Beijing Olympics Games back in 2008. Dr Jerath,has represented India eighteen times in the various International tournaments in the capacity of Manager/ Referee/Judge/Technical Official,and the major among those World Championship 2011,Kazakhstan,2010 Common Wealth Games,New-Delhi,2006 Common Wealth Games- Melbourne,2005 Turkey Boxing Ahmad Kamat event,1999 Germany Brandanburg Cup,1994 Tehran Asian Championship.

Dr Jerath is also elected member of Faculty of Education,Panjab University,Chandigarh for five erms and also member of Board of Studies of Physical Education of Panjab University Chandigarh for four terms. Speaking about his London visit,Jerath said,“I hopeful that Indian boxers will do well during the London Olympics. The Indian boxing contingent has potential to fetch number of medals. There are huge expectations from the boxers,I reckon the pugilists will not disappoint and bring glory to the nation”
