It was a day of double delight for Rohit Kumar as he claimed the titles in the boys’ u-16 singles as well as doubles’ category on the concluding day of the AITA TS Total Tennis Academy played at Manav Mangal School,Mohali.

In the boys’ U-16 final,Rohit Kumar prevailed over Krishna Rajput as he claimed the match with a 6-4,7-6 (6) win. Kumar first claimed the first set with a 6-4 margin before winning the second set via tie-break with a 7-6 96) margin to claim the title. In the boys’ U-16 doubles’ final,Rohit paired up with Krishna to end the challenge of Rishabh and Raunaq with a 6-2,6-0 win. Rohit/Krishna first claimed the opening set with a 6-2 margin before pocketing the second set with a 6-0 margin to claim the title.

In the girls’ U-16 final,Seerat Sidhu emerged as the champion as she prevailed over Tanya Batra with a 6-2,6-3 margin. Sidhi claimed the first set with a 6-2 margin before winning the second set with a 6-3 margin to claim the title.

In the girls’ doubles final,the pair of Harleen and Hanshika emerged as the winners as they carved out a 7-6 (6),0-6,10-7 win.
