Development stagnant in ward,as is water and garbage

In Sector 29 paver blocks have been laid and a park made. A community centre has been constructed. A greenbelt is proposed to be constructed. While in Colony Number 4,tiles were laid. High mast lights were installed at some places. The area councillor was among the first to allocate the ward development fund for various works in the ward.

Problem Areas

The ward lacks adequate sanitation facilities. Heaps of garbage can be seen lying around at different places. The garbage bins are overflowing with filth and unhygienic conditions prevail in the area. The conditions worsen after rains as the area becomes slushy. The drainage facilities in the ward are not adequate. Water floods the roads and the condition is worse in the colony. It gets difficult for people to walk or vehicles to move in the area. Encroachments are another problem with scarp dealers having occupied land in Industrial Area. In fact no major projects have been undertaken in the area.
