DAV-10 paddlers enter inter-college final

Earlier,DAV College,Chandigarh routed Gobindgarh Public College,Alour 3-0 to record an easy win. Anirudh defeated Jatin 11-7,12-10,11-5,while Anshu got the better of Nirmal 11-6,11-5,11-6. Hitesh then outplayed Hardik 11-6,11-3,11-3 to help the team register an emphatic win.

In another match,PU Campus outclassed DAV College,Abohar 3-0 to enter the last four. Gaurav defeated Shitanshu 11-6,11-9,11-7 while Rajan doubled the lead for PU after beating Vaibhav 11-3,11-7 and 11-7. Then,Amanpreet humbled Deepak 11-2,11-3 and 11-3 to help the team record easy win.

In the third match,Sri Aurobindu College of Commerce Ludhiana prevailed over DM College,Moga. Raghav put Sri Auribindo College in the lead by defeating Ashok 11-0,11-5 and 11-3. Mukul lost to Neeraj 11-4,11-13,11-1,7-11,7-11 but Abhinav put the College back on track after beating Manmeet 11-5,11-6,11-6. In an exciting twist,Raghav lost to Neeraj 11-5,15-17,1-11,11-9,8-11to make it 2-2. In the last game,Mukul held his cool to beat Ashok 11-7,11-1,11-6.

In the last match,Sri Guru Gobind Singh College,Chandigarh crushed Arya College,Ludhiana 3-0. Kamaljeet defeated Raghav Jathi 11-6,11-8,11-6,while Manpreet got the better of Sumit 11-3,11-7,11-4. Then,Mayank scored a hard-fought 11-6,11-5,8-11,11-9 win over Fuming.
