CTU,Haryana Roadways buses collide,four injured

A Haryana Roadways bus collided with a Chandigarh Transport Undertaking bus on Sunday at the Aroma light point,injuring three passengers and a conductor.

A Haryana Roadways bus collided with a Chandigarh Transport Undertaking bus on Sunday at the Aroma light point,injuring three passengers and a conductor. According to the police,the Haryana Transport bus was heading to Sirsa and did not stop at the Aroma light point.

“It collided with the CTU bus,moving from Ram Darbar to Maloya. The conductor of the CTU bus,Jagtar Singh,was injured and three passengers of the Haryana Transport bus also suffered minor injuries,” it said.

The four injured,including a woman,were taken to the Government Hospital at Sector 16. Nirmal Singh,the driver of the CTU bus, lodged a complaint of rash and negligent driving against the driver of the Haryana Transport bus. The accused was arrested and later released on bail,and further investigation is on.
