CIIs Young Indians wine and art appreciation session ran to a full house
This Friday,CIIs Young Indians (Yi) Chandigarh chapter took another step forward towards supporting the education of underprivileged girl children by organizing an Art and Wine Appreciation session with the presence of citys glitterati, the proceeds of which would go towards supporting the cause. Organised at the CII Northern Region headquarters, the session ensured that art and wine lovers had a good time networking and learning about the nuances of wine and art with the ambience adding to the high spirits.
Y Saboo, past chairman of the Chandigarh Council and founder president,Chandigarh Wine Club shared his insights on the subject. Wine drinking, above all should be enjoyable for which knowledge and responsibility is equally important. Wine has a great history and is a healthy drink; however I believe that more than great wine,it is important to focus on great wine appreciation, he said. Adding to the evening and much in sync with the theme was the art exhibition put up by Bhavmit Tiger Chandoak,Yi Member as well as CEO & MD,Tiger Wealth Management Private Limited. Arranging the elements, appealing to the senses of all,Chandoak pointed out,I present this show of spectacular forms, magnificent textures and myriad hues that to me define the very meaning of growing Indian contemporary art, conceptualized as an art appreciation presentation. Earlier,Mohit Chitkara,Chair,Yi ,Chandigarh Chapter, welcomed the guests and thanked them for the initiative taken towards the cause of the girl child through the appreciation session.
