Chandigarh boys came up with a splendid performance on the second day of the 55 th National School Games held on Friday. The Chandigarh boys claimed the Under-19 saber title in fencing,while,in the same category,the girls lost to Manipur and ended up with a bronze medal.

In the boys’ under-17 category of softball,Chandigarh thrashed Goa 10-0,while in the Under-19 boys’ category they outplayed AP 7-1. The Under-14 boys registered a comfortable 9-3 win over Haryana.

Meanwhile,in the Under-19 category,Chandigarh eves recorded a narrow 3-2 win over AP,while in the Under-17 category Chandigarh blanked Vidyabharti 10-0. The Under-14 eves routed Haryana 11-1. In dodgeball,Chandigarh Under-19 boys’ team cruised to a 2-0 win over Jharkhand,the girls overcame IPSC 2-1.
