Criticising Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar “for calling Mohalla Clinics, Halla Clinics”, AAP convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal challenged the former to inspect five clinics in the national capital to compare them with the health facilities in the state.
“I will welcome him (Khattar) at Delhi border to accompany him further to the Mohalla Clinics. Please convey us the date when are you coming to Delhi. You (Khattar) select three poorly-managed Mohalla Clinics in Delhi, while I will suggest our two best clinics. Let’s see together all five clinics along with the media. The same procedure may be adopted for Haryana dispensaries for inspection,” said Kejriwal, while addressing a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club Thursday.
Khattar also announced that he would also visit five dispensaries of Haryana on November 12. “If this date doesn’t suit, then they (Haryana government) may convey other suitable date,” said the AAP leader who was accompanied by Haryana party unit president Naveen Jaihind.
He termed the current BJP government in Haryana as “Khatara government”.
Hitting back at Kejriwal, Haryana government advised him to “spare time to fulfill the promises made to the people of Delhi. “The Delhi CM is busy giving wings to his political dreams at a time when the public is facing a tough time due pollution. The Kejriwal government has been able to open just 105 clinics, against a promise of 1,000,” claimed Rajiv Jain, Media Adviser to the CM.
