Chandigarh Coaching Centre-19 storm in final

Led by Navjot’s all-round performance (42 n o and 3 for 9) Chandigarh Coaching Centre-19 inflicted a huge win of 103 runs over Satluj Public School Cricket Academy,Panchkula in the semi-final match of the Radhey Shyam Kanojia Memorial Cricket Tournament for U-10 held at GMSS-19 in Chandigarh on Tuesday.

Batting first,Chandigarh Coaching Centre Sector-19 posted a total of 150 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 25 overs. Navjot Singh scored an impressive unbeaten knock of 42 to help his team put up a total of 150 runs. He was ably supported by Gagan who scored 31 runs. For Satluj School,Rahul picked-up two wickets. In reply,Satluj Public School Cricket Academy was bundled out for 47 in 17 overs. Navjot bowled a superb line to grab three wickets for 9. Five Satluj batsmen could not even open their batting accounts and were sent packing on duck. In the final of the tournament,Chandigarh Coaching Centre-19 will lock horns with Shri Shri Cricket Academy.

LIC Challenger Corporate Trophy from July 19
The Leaders in Cricket Club (LIC) will organise LIC Challenger Corporate Trophy from July 19 in which eight teams from the corporate sector will take part. The league matches will be of 20 overs,while the semifinal encounters will be of 25 overs. The matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday and on gazetted holidays. The teams will be divided into two pools. Top two teams from each pool will qualify for semi-finals.
