Caught with sex worker in office,DPRO says she had official work

High drama was witnessed at the Mini Secretariat in Sector 1,Panchkula,on Wednesday when District Public Relation Officer Vinod Kashyap was caught with an alleged sex worker around 8.30 pm in the office.

High drama was witnessed at the Mini Secretariat in Sector 1,Panchkula,on Wednesday when District Public Relation Officer (DPRO) Vinod Kashyap was caught with an alleged sex worker around 8.30 pm in the office.

While sources with the Panchkula police alleged that the DPRO had hired the sex worker,Kashyap said he stayed back in office for some “official” work and the woman had come to get a voter I-card made.

“It was on receiving a tip-off that we reached the spot and found the two in the office,” said a police officer,adding that the DPRO even threatened the policemen with dire consequences if the matter was reported to anyone.

Superintendent of Police Amitabh Dhillon said,”We received a call at the control room saying that the DPRO was with a woman in his office at odd hours. On reaching the office,we found the duo there and their photographs were taken. We are verifying the antecedents of the woman who reportedly hails from Mauli Jagran. A report will be sent to DC Pankaj Yadav.”
