The incident was reportedly a fallout of an instance of road rage involving the driver of the bus and a motorcyclist. The police arrested two persons while the other accused are yet to be nabbed. Soon, eyewitnesses recalled, one Charanjit Singh of Sector 40-C,a Shiromani Akali Dal activist, reached the spot and intervened. The policemen reportedly manhandled him too.
