An unidentified body was found dead in the Sector-16 Shanti Kunj on Friday morning.

An unidentified body was found dead in the Sector-16 Shanti Kunj on Friday morning. The police ruled out any foul play behind the death and said the victim appeared to be a drug addict and a drunkard.

The Station House Officer of the Sector 17 Police Station,Ramesh Chander,said the victim appeared to be a Nepalese in his early twenties.

He was reeking of alcohol and was entangled in a barbed wire. No document,which could help in establishing his identity,was found on the body,the police said.

The victim was wearing two trousers and a jersey.

The police shifted the body to the Sector-16 Government Multi-Specialty Hospital and initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPc.
