Bedi tees off to lead

AADIL Bedi of Vivek High School claimed the lead in D category with a score of 14 over par on the opening day of the inaugural CGA Junior Golf Tournament which started at Chandigarh Golf Club on Friday.

AADIL Bedi of Vivek High School claimed the lead in D category with a score of 14 over par on the opening day of the inaugural CGA Junior Golf Tournament which started at Chandigarh Golf Club on Friday. Bedi was leading Amril Lal by one stroke after the end of day’s play.

In the B category,Feroz Grewal took the lead with a score of 9 over par and was leading Pukhraj Gill by three strokes. In the A category,Raghav Bhandari was leading with a score of 73 after the end of the first round. He was leading Rishi Arora by three strokes.

In the girls’ category,Vasundra Thiara was leading in the E category with a score of 52 after the end of the first. In the D category,Varinda Aggarwal was leading with a score of 103.

In the C category,Gurjot Badhwal was leading with a score of 76 after the end of the first round while in the B category,Tavleen Batra was leading with a score of 80 after the end of the first round. In the A category,Gursimer Badwal was leading with a score of 75 after the end of first round.

More than 80 golfers from six states in North India are taking part in the event.
