Ball Badminton trials today

CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Ball Badminton Association will conduct the trials at 4.30 pm today at Shishu Niketan Public School,Sector 22 to select the Chandigarh team for the 38th North Zone Championship (For men and women) to be held at Rohtak,Haryana from May 29 to May 31. Eight teams including Haryana,Jammu and Kashmir,Himachal Pradesh,Delhi,Uttar Pradesh,Uttrakhand and Punjab,will take part in the championship. Rohit declared best athlete

CHANDIGARH: Rohit Kumar of VII-C was declared as the best athlete among students of classes VI to VIII while Basit of X-A was declared as the best athlete among students of classes IX to X,in the annual sports day of the Kendriya Vidyalaya,Sector 47,on Friday. Ashoka House was adjudged as the best marching contingent in the meet.
