School celebrates eco-friendly Holi

Chandigarh: An Eco-friendly Tilak Holi function was celebrated at Gurukul Global School,Manimajra,on Tuesday. The function was organised by the UT Department of Environment and Forests. The function was attended by the principals and eco-club incharges of 21 school clusters of Chandigarh. K K Sharma,advisor to the UT Administrator,was the chief guest.

PGI OPDs shut on March 8

Chandigarh: All OPDs in PGI shall remain closed on March 8 on account of Holi,a gazetted holiday. Emergency services will function as usual.
