Arjun of St Soldier School claimed the top spot in the long jump event in the boys’ category on the concluding day of the Chandigarh State Athletic Meet at Sports Complex,Sector 46. Swapandeep of IS Dev Samaj School claimed the second spot while Yogesh Kumar claimed the third spot. In the triple jump category,Sushant of Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 19 claimed the top spot with a jump of 10.99 meters while the second spot was claimed by Swampandeep Singh of IS Dev Samaj College,Sector 21 with a jump of 10.90 meters. The third spot was claimed by Yogesh Kumar of St Soldier School,Sector 28 with a jump of 10.29 meters. In the discus throw event in the same category,Paramjeet of BSA,Sector 39 claimed the top spot with a throw of 33.6 meters while Amandeep of Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 40 claimed the second spot with a throw of 33.6 meters. Preetam of Ajeet Karam Singh International Public School,Sector 41 claimed the third spot with a throw of 20.35 meters. In the javelin throw category,Ajay Kundi of Government College claimed the top spot with a throw of 32.22 meters while the second spot was claimed by Amandeep Singh of Government Model Senior Secondary School,Sector 35 with a throw of 27.51 meters. The third spot was shared by Gurshane Kapoor with a throw of 25.16 meters.

In the shot put event in the same category,Paramjeet Singh of BSSA,Sector 39 claimed the top spot with a throw of 15.36 meters while the second spot was claimed by Parag Puri of DAV Public School,Sector 8 with a throw of 11.90 meters. The third spot was claimed by Jasminder Singh of DPS School,with a throw of 10.69 meters. In the girls’ category,Kiranpreet Kaur of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College,Sector 26 claimed the top spot in the 100 meters category with a timing of 14.67 seconds. Mansi of Sports Complex,Sector 7 claimed the second spot with a time of 15.3 seconds. The third spot was claimed by Devanshi Mishra of Ajeet Karam Singh International School,Sector 41 with a timing of 16.31 seconds.
