Another patient has been admitted in the Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH) in Sector 16 with symptoms of swine flu,even as the blood samples of a man admitted on Wednesday have tested negative.
Both the patients were part of a group that was on a four-day business trip to Thailand. They landed in New Delhi on June 8.
The blood samples of the new patient,a 35-year-old resident of Sector 12,Panchkula,has been sent to the National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) in New Delhi.
The reports are likely by Friday, said a UT health official.
Another passenger of the same group,again a resident of Panchkula,has reportedly told the health officials that he showed mild symptoms of the disease and was taking treatment.
In all,15-odd people from the tricity were part of the group that went to Thailand.
