Ambala: Daily wage worker murdered

Some unidentified assailants killed Jai Ram,a daily wage worker employed in the Saha Growth Centre on Monday night.

Some unidentified assailants killed Jai Ram,a daily wage worker employed in the Saha Growth Centre on Monday night. His body was found in a pool of blood near fields on the Ambala-Dehradun National Highway. A sickle and a few pieces of timber were found near the body. The police registered a case of murder. Fingerprint experts visited the spot and took samples.

Ambulance hits people,driver held

Ambala: An ambulance from a Mohali-based hospital hit several persons,including a couple,between Tangri bridge and Indira Chowk Ambala Cantonment on Monday night,who were admitted to the civil hospital in serious condition. People followed the ambulance,caught the driver,who is said to have been drunk, and handed him to the police.
