All Haryana colonies with streets more than 3 metres wide will be regularised: CM Khattar
The government is conducting a family survey to collect data such as the numbers of total members and unemployed and elderly people.

All colonies with streets more than three metres wide and main roads more than six metres wide will be regularised, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said Saturday, adding that “a plan for basic facilities to be provided in all such colonies will be formulated”.
Addressing people in Karnal’s ward No. 4, Khattar said, “The main objective of the present state government is to provide maximum ease and convenience to the people with the spirit of service and welfare. Also, directions have been issued to start a special campaign by deputing two employees in every municipal council and municipal corporation office for the work related to the property ID correction for the convenience of the people.”
The state government is conducting a family survey to collect data such as the numbers of total members and unemployed and elderly people so that various schemes for their welfare can be implemented effectively, the chief minister further said.
“Through the Parivar Pehchan Patra, about 12.5 lakh ration cards have been made in the state. Those ration cards which are valid and have been wrongly cut due to some reason will be added to the same category again. The ward councillors should prepare a list of such persons from their respective wards and give them to the office of the additional deputy commissioner for the process of adding their names again,” Khattar said
Khattar also directed officials to ensure that the families whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh get the benefits of government schemes.
“The state government has implemented the CHIRAYU Haryana Yojana along with the Ayushman Bharat Yojana to provide better health facilities for poor families. Officers have also been directed to conduct a survey and prepare a list of all the chaupals, community centres and dharamshalas in the district for necessary repair work or new construction,” the chief minister said.
