Ahmadiyyas discuss the key to global peace
Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian founded the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in 1889 in the small village Qadian (District Gurdaspur), Punjab, which is now spread in 213 countries of the world.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at held its annual peace symposium in Chandigarh on the theme of “The key to global peace and security” with its abiding motto of “love for all, hatred for none.”
The audience comprised people of diverse background viz religious leaders, social activists, academicians, bureaucrats, and young professionals and students.
Mohd Majid, one of the members of the Jama’at, said the world today is passing through a very turbulent time. “Being a global community and a purely Islamic organisation with its firm objective to establish global peace, we consider our first and foremost duty to guide the world towards peace. Because Islam is a religion of peace. The very meaning of Islam is peace and harmony.”
