Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Friday doubled down on his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s foreign visits, this time in the Assembly. The AAP leader urged the PM to “address the concerns” of 140 crore Indians and asked if he doesn’t have the right to question India’s foreign policy.

Mann’s remarks came a day after the Ministry of External Affairs, without naming Mann, terming his criticism of the PM’s foreign visits “irresponsible”.

Mann again attacked the Prime Minister on Friday, saying he has no time to address the concerns of 140 crore Indians.

Modi returned on Thursday after visiting Brazil, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina and Namibia. State BJP chief Sunil Jakhar castigated Mann on X: “The kind of language you are using for the Prime Minister and Home Minister of the country is proof that you have forgotten all sense of decorum…”
